Application of Stainless Steel Screw Sleeve in Industry
(1) Install steel wire bolts directly on the base metal of aluminium alloy. This kind of structure is suitable for the case of relatively thick plate or wall thickness of base metal (casting). Generally, the formed bolt holes can ensure that at least 6-8 bolts (bolt L is not greater than M12) are connected. This kind of structure requires that the connecting bolts can not bear large loads, so as to avoid the damage of the bolt holes or the base metal.
(2) The base metal is strengthened locally, and then the steel wire screw sleeve is installed. The method of local reinforcement of base metal can be used to weld reinforcement blocks in needed parts for sheet metal parts, and to design flange for Castings in needed parts for local reinforcement. The mounting pedestals on the aluminium alloy top cover usually adopt local strengthening structures, such as ceramic bottle mounting pedestal, pantograph mounting pedestal, etc. For example, the pantograph mounting seat on the aluminium alloy roof of DJJ2 electric vehicle, first welds a reinforcing plate under the mounting seat panel, then drills holes and taps holes and installs the steel wire sleeve, so the threads formed can withstand strong loads.
(3) Install steel wire screw sleeve with nut base. For some parts with long or complex structure, the nut seat can be welded or bonded at the required position, and then the steel wire screw sleeve can be installed in the nut seat.
In addition, the elastic connection formed between the steel thread sleeve and the fastening bolt can eliminate the pitch and profile errors between the internal and external threads, so that each circle of threads can participate in the force, and avoid the phenomenon of concentrated force on the root threads (the main cause of bolt fracture). It can effectively improve the connection conditions of bolts.
